Chris Cruz became the first ever Lucha Brutál Great State Champion by winning the Championship Tournament that started at our debut event "We Own The Sky" in May 2019 and completed at "The Winner Takes It All" in November 2019, where he defeated Fuego Del Sol in the finals.
His reign lasted for 72 days as he lost the title at "War of the Genders 4" to Erica Torres.
Erica Torres became the 2nd Great State Champion by defeating Chris Cruz at "War of the Genders 4" on January 25, 2020. Erica had unintentionally incapacitated the referee, and because it was not intentional, the match was allowed to continue, but without management's knowledge, Erica also used a foreign object on Chris Cruz and claimed victory. Regardless of the circumstances Erica Torres etched her name in Lucha Brutál history by becoming the 2nd ever champion.
At "The Winner Takes It All" ASF secured the "Golden Ticket" which gave him a championship match at the time of his choosing. To everyone's surprise he took advantage of the opportunity to have his match directly following the championship match between Chris Cruz and Erica Torres at "War of the Genders 4"
ASF took advantage of the weary Torres, after her hard-fought battle with Cruz, and claimed the Great State Championship for himself.
ASF is the current reigning and defending Great State Champion.
At Hold My Beer, Prince Adam won a triple threat qualifier match for the Come & Take It Championship. He went on to face Nathan Bradley later that night, who also won a qualifier match. The two had a fierce battle, and Prince Adam came out on top to become the first ever Come & Take It Champion.
On August 6, 2022 after a successful title defense vs T-Ray, Prince Adam vacated the Come and Take It Championship.
Juicy Thunder ("Juicy" Cherry Ramons & Thunder Rosa) became the inaugural Maggie Martinez Memorial Tag Team Champions at the first ever Intergender Tag Team Invitational, held in November of 2018 by Dallas Championship Wrestling. The tag titles were introduced as board governed championships, not tied to any promotion, with the Martinez family heading up the board. When Lucha Brutál began, they were officially reassigned to be the promotions tag titles.
Their reign lasted 266 days until they unfortunately had to vacate the titles due to Cherry Ramons taking a step back from professional wrestling.
As one of the top tag teams in Texas, Fun & Sexy (Baby D & Phoebe) faced off against Real Life (Johnathan Life & Dyl Dempsey) for the vacated tag championships at Mas Brutál on August 1, 2019. Fun & Sexy were victorious and became the first ever to claim championship gold in Lucha Brutál history.
Their reign lasted 57 days.
At "Trial By Fire" in September of 2019 Fun & Sexy defended the Tag Team Championships against Larger Than Life (Ryan Remington & Tommy Becker). The match ended with a double pin, with Baby D pinning Ryan Remington and Tommy Becker pinning Phoebe simultaneously. Per Lucha Brutál's unique rules, the double pins resulted in a unique third tag team. They had the choice of vacating the championships or creating a new team and becoming the new champions, thus Sexy Life (Baby D & Tommy Becker) was formed.
Their championship reign lasted 48 days.
"The Winner Takes It All" on November 14, 2019 saw the finals of the 2nd Intergender Tag Team Invitational. Sexy Life defended the titles against Team Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo) and The Latin Renaissance (Gino Medina & Hyan). In the end The Latin Renaissance were victorious.
At The Lucha Brutal Bonanza on April 3, 2022 Sprida and Space Tiger debuted against Thoracic Park and claimed the vacant, Lucha Brutal "Maggie Martinez Memorial" Tag Team Championships.
